Zhineng Qigong – Support Dr. Pang Ming!

Image
What's up? - Someone from the Netherlands wants to reserve the word Zhineng for his exclusive use. First in Europe - and then where? - You know how it is. This hinders the spreading of Zhineng Qigong. Dr. Pang Ming cannot get involved from China. He created Zhineng Qigong and has the sole rights. We have to help him. „Zhineng Qigong“ whether in one word or in several parts. This term should be free for general use and remain so for each student, future or present teacher. It is as if you would block a letter from the alphabet and you are not allowed to use it. This concerns all of us. Write in your mother tongue. Make your opposition known. Just mention the application no. 008888621 in Latin characters so that the office knows to which file you are referring. Call it “Observations by third party” (free of charge) and refer to article 7 for the grounds for refusal. For an opposition the office charges a tax of 350 Euro. Write why this should n...

Zhineng Qigong movements in daily life

Image
Regular practice changes movements. If something can be done with less strain, the body remembers and uses it. This is how movements change in everyday life. An example: I was at the dentist's, had to open my mouth. The doctor asked me to let go. She needed more space, a larger opening. I released the tension of the muscles and did it. This was done in seconds. Why? It corresponds to the releasing of tension as we practise it with Zhineng Qigong. With minimal tension remaining we hold the postures in the movement and move our extremities. It is easy and flowing and qi supports us in it. We apply this knowledge unconsciously in everyday life. The muscles are relaxed, they can regenerate. In this way we can make many movements, are fresh and full of energy after the exercises. With muscle power alone we would be exhausted, powerless. Spontaneous Qi – What is it?

Image
This is about spontaneous qi movements. Spontaneous qi is an abbreviated term for this. Another hint: spontaneous qi is not an exercise. Spontaneous is only spontaneous when it occurs spontaneously. An exercise is not spontaneous, but intentional. Qi tries to flow through the body, to open ways and create new ones. This is also a sign for blockages that are eliminated. With regular practice it lessens, disappears. It is enough to stay calm, to observe precisely, to change body postures so that qi can flow and make its way. When you start to practise Zhineng Qigong, qi starts to flow, not all ways are free, there may be blockages, however these are rare. Spontaneous qi is possible, but rare. Why? - Zhineng Qigong is an open system, we open ourselves from the start, try to avoid blockages, but cannot exclude them. Regular practice keeps the qi flow activated. This is how we ensure a free flow without blockages. Posted in German by detlef, translated ...

Zhineng Qigong introduced the Qi-Field – Why?

Image
With closed qigong exercises, it is not worthwhile. If you are working with your own body's qi, if you have not opened yourself, it gives you nothing. The qi-field cannot give you anything. You are concentrated on yourself. If you open yourself, you can use it. Zhineng Qigong is a system of open exercises. We open ourselves right from the beginning. We absorb fresh qi from our surroundings. We release used qi to our surroundings. We connect at once to the qi-field. This is how we increase the effects of qi. This is especially important for sick persons. That is why Dr. Pang Ming thought of this and introduced practising in the qi-field. Posted in German by detlef, translated into English  by dolores

Do you have to feel qi for qi to work?

Image
No, if at all you only feel your own body's qi. It is thicker and not so fine flowing. Closed qigong knows the guiding of your own qi in the meridians of the body by the mind. During such an exercise you can lose contact with qi and then have to start again, i.e. to build contact anew. Moreover this method uses energy and qi. If only little qi exists, as with a sick person, then this person loses more qi and is weakened. With Zhineng Qigong it is different. We organize a qi field with the Hun Yuan Qi of the universe and strengthen the effects. The qi of the universe, the Hun Yuan Qi, is so fine - you do not feel it. We open ourselves at once, absorb this fine qi from the beginning. In our body it is changed to our own body qi. This is how we strengthen the weak qi of the sick person at once. Simultaneously we cultivate the qi flow in the body. This improves the well-being of the sick person. This is also possible with internal martial arts, but it ta...

Zhineng Qigong – is optimally suited for internal martial arts

Image
The internal martial arts use open qigong exercises. Dr. Pang Ming expressly points out the following: Open and closed exercises must not be mixed. If you learn internal martial arts you also learn the open qigong exercises of the marial art. If you want to add something else to intensify, these must be additional open qigong exercises. Practising Zhineng Qigong simultaneously is possible. To practise additionally a closed qigong would be mixing open with closed exercises. That is impossible. Negative effects will follow. Is it difficult to find your qigong? - No, why?

Image
It is easy for me as advanced practitioner. It may be difficult for a beginner. But I was extremely lucky. The first try was already successful. The teacher was very good. I did not lose any time by searching. Why is it so easy for me now to rate it? The more than 3000 qigong are only one way. Why? - All are closed qigong forms. The next group is Zhineng Qigong alone. Why? - Only Zhineng Qigong is an open system. There are also open exercises in martial arts. But these are exercises, no systems. So there are only two groups Group one - closed qigong forms Group two - open qigong forms If you have learned a closed form, you know the principle of this direction. An alternative is then only the open form. There is only Zhineng Qigong or martial arts. With martial arts it is similar: First came external martial arts. Then internal martial arts were created. The internal martial arts are superior to external martial arts. With qigong first came the close...

From the wild Apple to the cultivated Apple

Image
A wild apple-tree bears some apples. The apples are small and sour and unpalatable for human beings. A grafted apple-tree in commercial growth bears many apples. The apples are sweet and you like to eat them. What has happened? A breeder has used his knowledge to grow a new variety that is tasty and very fruitful. This new variety is grafted as a scion onto the wild apple-tree and used in commercial growing for the people at large. Traditional qigong are like old apple varieties. To gain access to the effects of qi is not easy. Zhineng Qigong is like a cultivated apple. Even sick persons feel the effects of qi and many can make good progress. Dr. Pang Ming is like the cultivator of a new variety. The grafted variety has been pruned, mystic and religious elements were eliminated, and characteristics changed - taste and yield. Quick effects and rapid progress are the result. Today, too, new varieties of apples are created and are proven and documented. F...

What is so special about Zhineng Qigong

Image
There are more than 3000 different qigong. Why now one more - Zhineng Qigong? Qigong has developed over many thousands of years. It is the result of this development. The progress continues. At the beginning were the closed exercises. The martial arts also have open exercises. The development was as follows: Qigong, then martial arts, hard martial arts, soft martial arts. Zhineng Qigong is the first open system. It is a jump in evolution. A specialty was added. Practising in the qi field. Other open systems can follow. The progress continues. Zhineng Qigong without teacher doesn't do - Why ?

Image
It is like a candle - without flame no light. What is it good for if the fire is lacking to light it? The form, that is the exercise, is only the candle. Poor teachers are like big candles without flame. You can learn the form from them - nothing more. Then the exercises are only gymnastics. So, a candle without flame does not suffice. The form has to be filled with contents. You need a teacher with a burning flame. There you can fetch fire - then it works. Then the light will burn and shine ever stronger. The Essence of Joy

Image
Joy is the power drive of life, Joy helps us to exceed boundaries, Joy helps us to solve problems, Joy changes our mood, Joy chases fears away, Joy sets us free, Joy makes us strong. Why are we not joyful? Are we afraid of being joyful? Let's not mistake success for joy. We do not forget moments of joy. These memories do not fade. These are lucky times in life. Joy strengthens the power of life. Joy gives us life energy. Joy works like Qi. Qi is power of life, is life energy. Posted in German by detlef, translated into English by dolores

The Essence of the Break

Image
Breaks are important for everyone. These are the times to gather energy. Who works without breaks is quickly exhausted. It is like running without catching air. Then you are soon out of breath. It is like standing still for an instant, to prepare for what is to come. This is how to act thoughtfully, avoid mistakes, do more, without wearing yourself out and more efficient. In daily life we need breaks. We have to plan them. Otherwise our life is all over with before we even noticed. Zhineng Qigong helps us in the meditative part to insert these breaks into our life. A break is an interruption of a sequence by an action. We are doing something, helping ourselves. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores

Being calm and composed

Image
In the midst of life's turmoil deep inside, an island of tranquility, an ocean of composure, gentle waves and a light breeze, a quiet heart and an alert mind, grow from conscious acting. Sense and nonsense, side by side, treasuring and paying attention to small things, but don't lose yourself in details, pondering, awaiting, the darkness clears, light falls onto your path and shines for you. Set your gaze to the aim and go forward.

To become calm and composed

Image
Why is it so important? Let your gaze roam about consciously through the window into nature, into the vast landscape, just for the blink of an eye-lash, the fraction of a second. Your heart feels this moment of tranquility and treasures it. How precious are some moments. Moments of stillness in the midst of your daily life, where your own melody chimes, that what makes you perceptibly you. May your day have many such moments.

Qi - how it works on blood pressure

Image
With Zhineng Qigong you can influence too high or too low blood pressure and regulate it. This is not to replace medical drugs. I myself have a slightly increased blood pressure. My doctor gave me a medical drug. I swallowed it for some time. Medical drugs work constantly, without interruption. I did not want to accept the side effects. I discontinued to take them and informed my doctor. The risk is entirely mine. With or without medical drugs the blood pressure is not the same during the whole day - physical stress causes short-time peaks. This is normal, no problem for healthy persons. Daily Zhineng Qigong practice regulates it. Too low blood pressure is normalized, too high blood pressure is reduced. To what extent medical drugs are still required, is the task of a doctor. Often a less strong medical drug or smaller dose of it is required. Zhineng Qigong works also on the mind. You can control qi with your mind. Qi flows into the direction you tell it...

Qi - how it works and how it doesn't

Image
Zhineng Qigong is a qigong method. Astonished I once witnessed how an archer's exercise was taught. The practitioners were told to take a posture as if an archer draws his bow. Then you should imagine that qi flows. It was a static posture that I saw. I am sure that none of the practitioners had qi flowing. Qi is not only life energy or power of life but also a mental power. What does it mean for this exercise. In the archer's posture you have to use your mind to relax mentally, to become quiet, to relax the muscle tension and then to activate the qi flow mentally. You cannot ask this of beginners, they will certainly have tensions in the posture and then qi cannot flow. Totally apart from whether they are able to activate the qi mentally, that is to let it flow. This is too complicated. I could do the exercise with qi flow, but to do that I would have to practise this exercise. This is a closed exercise, not an open one, it does not belong ...

Is there a Translation for Qi?

Image
Why translate when even in the Chinese language the meaning is not fully contained in Qi. Previously, it stood for power of life or life energy. Today it means air, breath or steam. Dr. Pang Ming says: "Qi does not contain all of it. Once there is a better word for it, we will take that. Until then let's use Qi." We therefore keep Qi and don't translate it. Who once felt Qi, knows what it is. We do not practise to feel Qi. If we would expect that Qi would hardly flow. Then the disappointment is great. An example that I have seen. Someone rubs his hands against one another, moves with his hands over his face and says: "Do as I do and you will feel Qi." This is frictional warmth when the hands are in contact with one another, not Qi. We practise Zhineng Qigong to let Qi do its work. We do not need to feel the Qi flow. The missing Mosquito Net

Image
An everyday tale: In a tropic landscape people protect themselves at night against mosquitoes with a net. What astonished me on my second stay in China: My friend had no mosquito net over her bed. She showed me with her finger how a mosquito flies towards her and then at some distance suddenly turns round and flies away from her. She had avanced greatly with Zhineng Qigong and her personal qi field and Gong Fu were so strong that mosquitos avoided her by far. Therefore she had no more need of any mosquito net.

Zhineng Qigong - where does our path lead to ?

Image
Who arrives here, should already practise Level 1 and 2 on his own and intensify, thus have arrived at interpretation. Of course, you can already practise Level 3, too, however the question remains: "Where does the path lead to?" What do we mean when we say: "Zhineng Qigong has to become a part of your life." Did you ever ask yourself: "Why do I hardly see the master practise?" It is easy once you have understood it. The path is the aim and what does the aim look like? Well, we practise, loosen tensions, care for qi flow, strengthen qi, exchange qi with our surroundings, care for harmony, learn to act quietly and thoughtfully, thus also looking for harmony for the mind. What awaits us at the aim once we reach it? Well, every movement is done with qi. We do not need any particular practice. Any movement is just practice. Qi flows continuously, used qi leaves us, we gather pure Hunyuan Qi. This is just an insight. Our p...

Spreading Joy

Image
What do you need? Not much. A small gift and a smile. That is already enough. The smile itself is already a gift. When someone smiles at you, smile back at him. Joy expands and takes effect. Compassionate and together, this connects and shines forth. For the good of everyone, including yourself.

Zhineng Qigong - Strengthening the Self-Healing Powers

Image
Zhineng Qigong strengthens the self-healing powers. Those are the experiences that practitioners make. When a strong personal qi field has developed, it affects also persons that are not practising Zhineng Qigong. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores

Zhineng Qigong - The Path is the Aim

Image
Practice and theory are of help, perceptions and experiences on the path, are equally important. Then the qi powers can have full effect. Only someone who walks the path, can reach the aim. Let's continue on our way. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores

The brighter the light, the deeper the shadow

Image
A well-known proverb. Who uses it often turns his gaze in the wrong direction: to the shadow. Let's turn around, let's gaze into the light, let's be glad of what we achieved, let's ask ourselves: "What is our aim?" Let's move towards our aim. Zhineng Qigong and Hunyuan Qi

Image
This is also about powers. There are different forms of qi. Zhineng Qigong works with Hunyuan Qi the finest and purest qi of the universe. It is everywhere and penetrates everything. We collect it or give it to sick persons. In this way we strengthen the immune powers and contribute to recuperation. To use the powers of nature without changing them is another way of healing art. Fields of force of Water

Image
Water disposes of fields of force. Disturbed sleep above an underground watercourse, we also heard of that already. Water - source of all life - information about the journey is in the water. Researchers have found differences between holy water and normal water. Water is not like water. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores

Fields of force of the Sun

Image
We all know it: The sun brings warmth and light. Sun winds can influence our life. They upset not only wireless transmissions or navigation. To what extent ice ages might have been caused by the sun, researchers are trying to find that out. For sure, there are still many other powers of the sun. It is natural to use these powers, too. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores

Fields of force of the Moon

Image
We all know it: ebb-tide and flood-tide are caused by the powers of the moon. They affect the earth. The earth is deformed from ball shape to egg shape. The deformation of the earth in direction to the moon is similar on the earth side that is turned away from the moon. This explains the weakened fields of force at new moon. Zhineng Qigong practitioners use these powers. The Moon over Bielefeld - taken on 16.06.2011 shortly after a long total lunar eclipse. The moon still shines in reddish light. Fields of force on Earth

Image
On earth there are different fields of force. Magnetism is used for a compass. The Chinese knew of these effects already before us. „Hotspots“  where you find volcanic activity even within the earth's plates and which stay when the earth plate moves. Why this is so is being researched. Strong qi fields The Chinese just accept them as they are. They use their knowledge. We want to use it, too. Healing powers of nature

Image
Medicinal herbs from nature, the beginnings of our medicine, too. Water used for healing, curative baths, Kneipp baths, this is also not new to us. Indian methods with oils and other substances from nature are known. Chinese methods of medicine with plants and substances from nature, are also known to us. Mostly we cook a medicine with them, drink them, apply them externally. The use of qi and other powers from nature is not that known to us. These healing powers also exist in nature, they do not wear out by use, they are not used up. Let's take a closer look at some of these healing powers. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores

Wallsquats - Dun Qiang Fa

Image
A simple exercise to straighten out the body. Small children squat naturally - even for long time. From school age on we hardly squat. So we lose this capability again. As adults we can't do it any more. This is due to modern lifestyle. With the wallsquats we can learn to do it again and get back to former agility. Although the motion sequence is very simple, many mistakes are possible. We need the checking of a good teacher. With muscle power you can only do a few wallsquats. When the movement is done with qi, many repetitions are possible. A good teacher knows how to do the movement with qi and can explain it in detail. These were some additional exercises that are known in the Zhineng Qigong system. Further exercises will not be explained here.

Zhineng Qigong Spiral

Image
With very many persons a circle gets too large. The Zhineng Qigong spiral is an open circle with movement towards the center of the circle. A large qi field is created with its highest effect in the center of the spiral. This increases the qi effect to a maximum. A very good teacher knows how to make  a Zhineng Qigong spiral. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores

Zhineng Qigong Circle

Image
A special method to transmit qi. Several persons make a circle. One to three persons go into the center of the circle. All persons stand or sit. From the circle qi is sent into the center of the circle. There are more than 4 directions on the compass. The effect of the diagonal directions is stronger. A circle is the concentration of qi from all directions. This increases the effect of qi onto the persons in the center of the circle to a maximum. A very good teacher knows how to make a Zhineng Qigong circle. Posted in German by detlef,  translated into English by dolores
